Processing
Supabase stores project sources and derived evidence; Vercel hosts the application and workers. When external model processing is enabled, selected passages, the project question and extraction fields are sent to api.deepseek.com, using deepseek-flash. Uploads and manual editing do not require a model.
Project control
Owners can disable external model processing in project settings. Extraction and questions are then blocked before provider calls. Source management, manual review, comparisons and records remain available. Completed external calls cannot be recalled.
Access
Only explicitly authorized project members can access internal sources. Team administrators do not automatically receive private project access. Revocation prevents future controlled downloads and generation. Exported copies cannot be recalled.
Retention and deletion
Sources and history remain until an owner deletes them. Archived projects keep versions and permissions and stop new jobs; trashed projects can be restored. Permanent project deletion removes evidence, outputs, comments, tasks and snapshots and immediately revokes access to original files. Files are then removed through a minute cleanup queue with up to three attempts; unresolved failures remain visible to administrators. Removing a source also removes affected controlled excerpts and old content snapshots within that project.
Infrastructure copies
Deletion immediately affects online application data. Managed backups, provider logs, external model retention and training use follow the service accounts’ configuration and policies. Unverified zero retention, training exclusions and backup erasure deadlines are not promised. Teams requiring these conditions should verify them with their administrator before uploading internal material.
Usage
Pilot customer charges are zero, including failed retries. Provider token consumption and actual or uncertain costs are tracked separately. Unknown cost remains unknown. Default per-project limits are 100 sources, 20 fields and 200 model calls; file uploads are limited to 4 MB per batch. Owners can lower limits without losing saved outputs.
Results
Extraction review, team decision confirmation and team-submitted experiments have independent states. Citerra does not execute experiments or promise research correctness, superiority to a baseline or universal accuracy.
